On the afternoon of June 2, Bai Feiyun, equity partner of Jingshi Law Firm and chairman of the Women's Federation, was invited to the China Women's University as a member of the "Flower of the Morning" Women's Lecture Team and gave a keynote speech titled "Don't Let Anyone Define Your Limits: The Mountain I Climbed with Efforts". During the presentation, lawyer Bai Feiyun used the metaphor of "mountain" and combined his own experience of growth, study, career transformation and public welfare legal education to tell the story of his struggle to constantly break through the boundaries of life and climb over "mountains". Starting from Baijiashan, a small mountain village in Luliang Mountains, Shanxi, to being admitted to the China University of Political Science and Law; from giving up her stable job as a teacher to join the legal industry, to continuing to deepen her career as a lawyer, she interpreted the meaning of "love, persistence and breakthrough" with her personal experience. Faced with difficulties such as a weak professional foundation and huge learning pressure during her studies, she always maintained an unyielding spirit and finally passed the judicial examination and started her career as a lawyer. During her practice, she always strives to balance career and family. With the support of her family, she integrates career pursuits and family responsibilities into her life path.
In legal practice and public welfare law popularization work, lawyer Bai Feiyun always adheres to the professional philosophy of "a lawyer is a conscientious worker", has been deeply involved in the professional field for a long time, and actively participates in social welfare activities. She actively participated in legal popularization film and television works and a series of legal popularization program recordings. Since 2017, she has continued to serve as a guest on the TV station’s public welfare legal popularization column, and has commented on more than 1,000 hot social cases. She also actively participated in the work of mass rights protection, resolving backlog of petition cases, and grassroots legal education propaganda. She once represented the case of "Fuzhou Zhao Yu's brave anti-detention case", which was included in the work report of the two sessions of the Supreme People's Procuratorate in 2019. At the end of her lecture, she encouraged the students present to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, constantly break through themselves in the struggle, and bravely pursue their dreams.
During the interactive question-and-answer session, lawyer Bai Feiyun communicated wit h students around life choices and growth confusion. She said that she should be loyal to her heart, choose the direction of her passion, work hard and persevere for a long time, and not be bound by external labels. In the face of confusion and pressure, we must keep in mind our original intentions, break down our goals into step-by-step concrete actions, and accumulate strength through persistence.
This time the "Flower of the Morning" women's propaganda team visited the China Women's College, which not only provided a platform for young students to listen to the stories of role models and understand the power of struggle, but also further inspired the majority of young people to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and bravely shoulder the mission of the times.
