On May 18, 2026, Xu Huajie, equity partner of Jingsh Law Firm, executive director of the Criminal Defense Training Institute of the Criminal Committee of Jingsh Law Firm (National), director of the Cultural Heritage Protection Legal Practice Research Center of Jingshi Law Firm (National), director of the Legal Affairs Department of Cultural Relics Protection and Recovery, and UNESCO Cultural Heritage Law Chair Cooperation Expert, was invited to Beijing Ziwu University to deliver a special lecture on "The Judicial Practical Application of Criminal Evidence Rules" for law students. This lecture focuses on four major topics: "Rules, Practice, Disputes, and Cracks".
During the lecture, lawyer Xu Huajie gave a systematic explanation on the application of criminal evidence rules in judicial practice. Based on typical cases, she deeply analyzed the key and difficult issues in evidence collection, review, judgment and elimination. She emphasized that evidence is the soul and cornerstone of criminal proceedings, and accurately grasping the rules of evidence is of great significance to safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the parties and promoting judicial fairness. This concept runs throughout the lecture, laying a clear methodological foundation for subsequent rule interpretation and case analysis.

In the interactive communication session, focusing on practical hotspots such as illegal evidence exclusion, verbal evidence review, and electronic data identification, lawyer Xu Huajie provided solutions one by one based on specific cases, transforming profound evidence rules into operable and reusable practical methodologies, and vividly presented the professional game of "using evidence as a weapon" in criminal defense. The participating students generally expressed that this lecture effectively bridged the cognitive gap between classroom theory and judicial practice, making abstract evidence rules clear and perceptible under the mapping of real cases, and has practical guiding value for future legal practice.
