During the exchange and discussion session, Liu Lihui, deputy director of the Criminal Professional Committee of Jingshi Law Firm (National) and executive director of the Difficult Case Argumentation Center, combined his academic background as a PhD in criminal law and a university associate professor with many years of experience in front-line criminal case handling. Focusing on the hot areas of fraud, financial crimes, job crimes, cross-border cases and corporate compliance and non-prosecution, he systematically explained the case handling logic and difficult case argumentation ideas of criminal lawyers through the analysis of typical cases. He also made suggestions on the theoretical study, practical thinking cultivation and compliance business direction selection of law students.

▲ Yang Jia, director of the Intellectual Property Committee of Jingsh Law Firm (National)
Yang Jia, director of the Intellectual Property Committee of Jingshi Law Firm (National), has been engaged in intellectual property legal services for more than ten years. Her service clients include well-known enterprises such as Heilan House, Xueersi, and Xinruipeng. The cases she represents have been typical intellectual property cases in the Supreme People's Court. She introduced in detail the business scope and career growth path of intellectual property lawyers from the perspectives of trademark protection, unfair competition, copyright protection, and corporate brand compliance, combined with cases from industries such as clothing, education, cultural creativity, and jewelry.
The two lawyers also combined their own professional experience to emphasize the professional bottom line for lawyers to adhere to professional ethics and protect the legitimate rights and interests of clients with professionalism. They also answered questions one by one focusing on internship channels, career thresholds, industry development prospects, and school study plans, etc., which provided practical reference for the career planning of the students in the Excellence Class.

▲Hu Haichun, Director of the Legal Affairs Center of Yanjing Institute of Technology
After the interactive exchange, Hu Haichun, director of the Legal Affairs Center of Yanjing Institute of Technology, said that this event helped students narrow the cognitive gap between theory and practice through dialogue with lawyers and face-to-face practical work. He hoped that students would take this event as an opportunity to solidly learn professional knowledge, hone their legal thinking, and adhere to their original aspirations for the rule of law.
This practical teaching activity builds a closed loop of "talking to lawyers - entering front-line institutions - experiencing practical scenes", and is an active exploration of the cultivation of compound legal talents at Yanjing Institute of Technology Law School.
Yang Weili, head teacher of Yanjing Institute of Technology’s New Vision School of Cultural Industry and School of Law’s Excellence Class, said that this event helped students gain a clearer understanding of the current development trends in the legal industry and clarified the study directions for majors and minors, which has positive significance for career planning. The students who participated in the event said that through the sharing of the two lawyers, they had a more intuitive understanding of legal service fields such as criminal and intellectual property rights, and further clarified the direction of career development. In the future, they will continue to strengthen the integration of theory and practice, and strive to become a comprehensive legal talent that adapts to market demand.
In the future, Jingshi Law Firm will continue to deepen its cooperation with Yenching Institute of Technology Law School, provide practical resource support for the training of legal talents through law firm visits, practical lectures, internship training and other forms, and jointly promote the construction of a legal talent team.
