From May to August 2026, the Jingsh Law Firm (National) Trainee Lawyer Working Committee organized three consecutive "examiner face-to-face" activities. The event strictly benchmarked the Beijing internship assessment standards for lawyers applying for practice, focusing on the three core dimensions of political quality, professional ethics, and professional skills. The firm invited Li Yixian, equity partner and director of the Trainee Lawyer Working Committee, Wang Donghong, equity partner, and director of the Family Legal Affairs Department, and equity partners and trainee lawyers working committee to guide the inspection. Director of the Center Yao Zhidou, Director of the Corruption, Bribery and Malfeasance Crime Defense Legal Affairs Department Xie Jianyong, Director of the Property Crime Legal Affairs Department Zhao Li, Deputy Secretary-General of the Intern Lawyers Working Committee Zi Yanyan, Director of the Risk Control Department of Jingshi Law Firm Du Jianchao, and Jingshi Law Firm Party Building Office Zhao Jianguo served as exchange mentors, conducting face-to-face and in-depth exchanges with intern lawyers who are about to participate in the practice assessment. In each event, trainee lawyers will make a personal statement in accordance with the assessment process, report on their political theory learning, professional ethics development and business practice during the internship, and submit a summary of ten representative cases and complete case files for the instructor's review. Based on the assessment standards, the lawyers present conducted in-depth questions and comments from aspects such as case fact sorting, legal application, agency strategies, document writing and risk prevention, guiding trainee lawyers to find knowledge blind spots and ability shortcomings, and also gave specific suggestions for improvement on comprehensive qualities such as appearance, language expression, logical organization, and adaptability. The activities not only help trainee lawyers discover their own shortcomings and master improvement methods, but also gain a clearer understanding of assessment standards, and achieve substantial improvements in political awareness, disciplinary awareness and professional capabilities.
In addition, Jingshi lawyers also share practical skills such as time management, logical expression, and on-the-spot mentality adjustment based on their own practice experience to help trainee lawyers make up for their shortcomings, strengthen their weaknesses, and achieve dual improvements in professional quality and comprehensive capabilities. Trainee lawyers who participated in the event said that through face-to-face and one-on-one in-depth communication with senior lawyers, they had a clearer understanding of professional standards, found precise directions for their efforts, and enhanced their confidence to calmly handle assessments and perform their duties as lawyers.
