Tan Zhensheng
Lawyer at Leung Ho-Yan Law Firm in Hong Kong
Tan Zhensheng, a lawyer at Leung Law Firm in Hong Kong, said that the legal professions in Hong Kong and the Mainland have their own characteristics in terms of professional qualifications, law firm management and market environment. He introduced that the Hong Kong legal market is mature, the lawyer training system is relatively complete, and the professional division of labor is relatively clear; mainland law firms have formed distinctive characteristics in terms of scale and team development. As a joint venture jointly established by Jingsh Law Firm and Hong Kong Leong Law Firm, Jingsh Haoran (Qianhai) Joint Venture provides a new cooperation model for the exchange of legal services between the two places, and also creates more opportunities for Hong Kong lawyers to participate in the construction of the Greater Bay Area. He expressed his hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with mainland legal service institutions in the future, promote the complementary advantages of the two places, and jointly expand new space for cross-border legal services.

Li Shubing
Director of Jingshi Haoran (Qianhai) Joint Venture
Li Shubing, director of Jingshi Haoran (Qianhai) Associates, shared the development history, current situation and future trends of the legal industry in mainland China. He introduced that with the continuous deepening of the reform of the lawyer system, my country's lawyer industry has gradually realized marketization and professional development, and the scale of the lawyer team has continued to grow. However, there is still an imbalance in the distribution of legal service resources among regions. He said that the legal service cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is an important exploration to promote system integration under the background of "one country, two systems", and the joint venture model provides a practical path for exchanges and cooperation between lawyers from the two places. Talking about the impact of artificial intelligence on the legal industry, he believes that AI can improve the efficiency of legal services, but it cannot replace lawyers’ professional abilities in fact judgment, risk analysis and responsibility assumption. In the face of technological changes, legal practitioners must adhere to professionalism and continuously improve their comprehensive capabilities.
This exchange activity not only provides Hong Kong young students with a practical platform to gain an in-depth understanding of the development of the mainland's legal industry and experience the achievements of legal culture construction, but also promotes exchanges and mutual learning between Hong Kong and the mainland's legal service fields. In the future, Jingsh Law Firm will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao and international legal institutions, actively carry out youth talent exchanges and legal culture dissemination activities, and contribute to promoting cross-regional legal exchanges and cultivating legal talents in the new era.
